Teaching responsibilities are dependent upon qualifications and needs of the undergraduate education minor and the graduate education degree.
    Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree required which must include a minimum of 18 hours in an education or special education field; Unencumbered professional teaching license in TN/multistate; 3 years or more of teaching experience in grades PreK-12; excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Preferred Qualifications: PhD or EdD, Previous teaching experience in higher education; Knowledge of accreditation standards and Tennessee teaching licensure requirements. King University's annual security report is available on the internet and by request. This report is required by federal law and contains policy statements and crime statistics and the campus fire safety report for the school. The policy statements address the school's policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security, for example, policies for responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses. Three years’ worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the school and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.
