    Description: King University is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Flag Football Coach. Women’s Flag Football will be a new varsity sport offered by King, and a championship sport for Conference Carolinas, beginning with the 2025-26 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting the first class of student athletes in 2024-25, and then for administering all aspects of the women’s flag football program in subsequent years.
    Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required; Experience coaching at the college level, or equivalent; Candidates should possess a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, recruiting students to a private, residential institution, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.
    Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; Experience coaching and leading female student athletes; Experience coaching or playing flag football; Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
    Responsibilities: Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations;
